Decoding the Bridal look for Masaan Actor Shweta Tripathi
Masaan actor Shweta Tripathi got married to rapper, actor Chaitanya Sharma. The duo met on a flight from Delhi to Mumbai and the love story started rolling. Chaitanya proposed Shweta a few months back at Cuckoo Club. He called her to watch his play as he wished to make the announcement on a stage. Romantic, indeed! They dated for five years.
They tied the knot on Friday in Goa with close friends and family in attendance. The wedding festivities started on Tuesday with mehendi ceremony at Chaitanya’s place followed by a pre-wedding bash for the industry friends on Wednesday. For this, Shweta dressed up in a pastel pink long jacket lehenga by SVA of Sonam and Paras Modi with minimalistic lehenga.
For her wedding, Shweta wore a custom-made lehenga from PapaDon’t Preach. At a time when the industry brides are picking pastels for their wedding, Shweta picked up a combination of bright and pastels. While the lehenga was in a shade of red, it was teamed with a sleeveless, floral embroidered choli to match it. The choli had embroidery in multi colors along with a mint dupatta. The makeup was just right, combined with a golden maathapatti, choker and gold earrings to compliment the attire. She rounded the look with red flowers in her hair. The groom complimented her with his maroon kurta pajama set.
Though she carried it well, somehow the color combination didn’t seem to attract the attention of many. She could have opted for a better combination of colors, the mint coloured dupatta was a complete off for us. Or if she wished to wear the same dupatta, a pastel colored lehnga would have justified the whole look.
Anyhow, she made a pretty picture with her smiling face. We wish Shweta and Chaitanya a very happy married life!
