This Winter Keep Your Hands Soft And Cozy With These Natural, Home Remedies.
Humans are all about looks. Quite often than never, we end up ignoring other parts of the body while taking special care of face. Talking of winters, it’s no news how much effort you need to put in to make sure you don’t have chapped fingers, skin or scaly elbows. And let’s admit, such things don’t take time to grab attention.
While attending a kitty party earlier this week, my Kitty BFF suggested a few home remedies to make your hands look like that of a mannequin, and you’re gonna love them! Take a look…
The Magical Steam
I’m sure you must have steamed your face to get a glowing, soft and supple skin. Did you know it is equally beneficial for hands too? Take steaming hot water and steam both sides of your hand for 10 to 15 minutes. Dead cells and dirt exfoliates. After the steaming session, apply petroleum jelly or any other moisturizing cream to keep the moisture intact.
Incredible Egg Yolk
I just can’t thank my kitty friend enough for sharing this remedy. We all are familiar with amazing benefit egg provides to our body and hair. The proteins present in an egg yolk helps in treating dry hands. Take the egg yolk and apply it on your hands. Once, completely dry, wash it off with a mild soap. I tried it as soon as I reached home. My hands never felt so soft!
The Versatile Baking Soda
Wasn’t too surprised when my friend mentioned baking soda. It is the easiest and cost-effective way to exfoliate your skin. It removes dead cells, dirt, gives skin an even texture and adds moisture. Mix baking soda and water in equal proportions. Gently massage your hands with this mixture until it dries out. Wash your hands with warm water and apply a moisturizing cream.
Miraculous Coconut Oil
When it comes to skincare, coconut is never far behind. The oil is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and a great moisturizer. Daily application of coconut oil will recover your skin from sun exposure and other effects of harmful UV rays. Apply a few drops of coconut oil and massage your hands. Leave it overnight and you will wake up with amazingly soft skin.
Winters – Dos and Don’ts.
- Don’t work with extreme hot or cold water.
- Moisturize your hand with petroleum jelly.
- Exfoliate your hands and elbows using a mild scrub.
- Avoid using harsh soaps.
The remedies seem to work for me and guess what- the husband never misses a chance to hold my hands. 😉 Must try and don’t forget to share your experience in the
