I’m sure you must be aware who Payal Aggrawal is. That’s right she is a dietitian. But diet doesn’t mean that you cannot enjoy good, mouth-watering food. That’s Payal’s “mantra’ as well. She wants people to enjoy an active lifestyle and good health without sacrificing delicious food or keeping their taste buds at stake.

In order to help all the people who are on a strict diet, Dietician Payal Aggarwal shared one of her favourite recipe – Oats Chilla. If you aren’t aware of amazing benefits of oats, a few are listed below.

Let’s, take a look at the recipe!


Oats – ½ cup

Besan – ½ cup

Chopped Green Chillies – 1 or 2

Turmeric (Haldi) – ½ tbsp

Coriander- 1/4th cup

Chopped Vegetables

Curd/Water as needed

Salt to taste

Step 1. In a bowl add oats and besan. Pour water or curd & mix well. If the batter looks thick, add more water or curd to get it into a running consistency. Let it sit for five to ten minutes.

Step 2. Now, add salt, turmeric, green chillies, salt and coriander into it.

Step 3. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a small portion of the mix.

Step 4. Spread it a little and place chopped vegetables on the chilla.  After a few minutes, flip it to cook the other side as well.

Step 5. Your oats chilla is ready to eat. Serve it hot with green chutney.
